I really like Advance Auto in general, but good luck to you if you ever have a problem you need to resolve. The employees at the store level have NO authority, and it is almost impossible to get in touch with a real human being via phone. I submitted a rebate once on the first day of the promotion. On that particular promotion, a company employed by Advance Auto, collected the submissions and forwarded them to Advance. When I inquired about my rebate months later via email, I was told "our subcontractor submitted your rebate after the promotion expired." When I provided proof that I submitted the rebate on day one, I was told the subcontractor held the rebate too long (six weeks?) and there was nothing that could be done. Why is negligence on the part of Advance Auto or it's affiliates something which should affect my rebate? Also, why is there nothing a district manager can do? (Including returning phone calls.) As I said, if you ever have a problem, like the wrong part sent to you (yes that happened too) good luck!
