I rarely order much pet food from Petfood Direct because shipping costs are sky high by the time they get to me. One great option is you can enter your zip to get an estimate of your shipping costs. That has certainly helped me decide what I will and won't purchase from them. I do check them if there's something I'm specifically searching for. For example, I recently needed to get some OptaGest for my cat. The Petfood Direct cost was $5 cheaper than my pet food store, and that was after I paid for shipping. They information they provide so you can monitor shipping progress has been good,.

PetFoodDirect is the best choice for online pet food needs! Instead of having to run out to the store you can find everything you need for your best friend right online. And being that I live close to their main headquarters, my orders always arrive pretty quickly. I have only had to contact customer service once or twice and they've been very friendly and helpful every time. I always find what I'm looking for, and only had items be out of stock rarely. If you're looking for a large selection of pet food, treats, toys, even human items (shirts, watches, etc...) then this is the place to check out! I also like how they have a great selection for all types of pets, not just cats and dogs.

I like buying through this site as I can get the big bags of dog food delivered, so I don't have to carry it home and lift out of car. Also, they have nice coupons now and then. I can get ALL my other pet supplies IE bird food and supplies in the same place without searching around in a store. It makes buying pet supplies so much easier.

I am a repeat customer of Pet Food Direct and find their service and products top notch. I don't always have time to shop around for pet products and it's so convenient to have them delivered to my door. Their pricing and selection are very competitive to the big pet stores.

I love getting 20% off on the cat food that I feed my cats.
That said, shipping can be somewhat slow for PetFood Direct. It usually takes about 10 days after placing my order to receive my shipment.
Sometimes it's packed well and other times, the cans are dented from lack of bubble wrap.
Catching someone on the phone is something that I haven't been able to do yet when I had a question.
So, I emailed them. They do answer your emails but it takes a couple of days to hear back from them.
Overall, I will continue shopping with PetFood Direct. You can't beat the ease of receiving pet food. Especially when my nearest Petco or PetSmart is almost an hour away.

Pet Food Direct always has competitive pricing on their products and I shop with them on a regular basis. I have always been very satisfied with the products I've ordered. I also appreciate the speedy delivery of my items.

I do like this store for its prices and selection but there are a few things that can and should be improved. They over pack their boxes to an extreme, I assume to save on shipping. I've been using this store for about two years and there hasn't been a single time when I didn't get a few crushed cans of dog food. There was one instance when a dry food bag exploded inside the box, making it unsanitary for the dog to eat and causing it to spill all over the delivery truck, my front porch, entrance hall and the kitchen where I had to unpack it. Their delivery is also very slow. You might want to plan ahead. Another consideration is that they send some food very close to its expiration date. I imagine they have good turnover due to their competitive prices and bulk sales and would assume they wouldn't have to do that. Check expiration dates on arrival!!!
