This is the best place that I have found to purchase art supplies online. They usually have the lowest price, although you will want to order a bunch at once (shipping costs are a set price). On most things, they have an excellent selection, although they sometimes have a limited selection in artisan fields (metalsmithing, ceramics, bookmaking).
Overall, I would have to say that DB is the best. I order stuff from them at least once a year.

Dick Blick has a huge inventory, and you can basically find any product, art-wise, that you need. I mostly buy from their store in Philadelphia, but I have made some online purchases as well, including yeaterday, and it was fast and easy. They have frequent promotions and coupons, which is great, but unfortunately, they also cut their mrrebates percentage rebate in half, which is not so great. Still, shipping is fast, prices are good, and as I mentioned, if you need it, they have it.

Placed order on website without any problems. I received everything in great condition. Shipping time was very fast, placed order at night, was shipped out the next day. No complaints.
