"Back-to-School iPhone Giveaway" Contest Rules

Open only to US Citizens. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

INTRODUCTION:
MrRebates.com sponsors the August 2007 "Back-to-School iPhone Giveaway" contest (the "Contest") with a collection of three 4GB Apple iPhones. (non-activated and without service contract)

REGISTRATION:
All valid members of Mr. Rebates are eligible for this contest although specific actions explained below must be taken by a member to qualify for the contest.  A valid member of Mr. Rebates is a unique person that is registered in the Mr. Rebates membership database with a valid email address and valid password.

TIMING:
This Contest begins on 12:00 AM EST August 1st, 2007 and ends at 11:59 PM EST on August 31st, 2007.
 
ELIGIBILITY:
The Contest is open to residents of the United States (excluding Rhode Island and Vermont) who are 18 years of age, or the age of majority by law, or older at time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Mr. Rebates or its affiliates, subsidiaries, participating advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees' families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse, and life partners).

To earn an entry into each iPhone giveaway, a valid Mr. Rebates member must make a valid purchase at a partner store (stores that offer cash-back only) or complete an offer and earn a "Quick-Cash" rebate.  Each rebate generated from each order will be a separate entry into each respective iPhone drawing. Purchases that are returned/cancelled/exchanged do not qualify as a valid purchase.  Determination of a valid purchase is at the sole discretion of the Mr. Rebates website.  Multiple entries can be generated for each give-away so if a member had 10 valid rebates in the contest timeframe then they will earn 10 entries into each iPhone contest. 

CRITERIA FOR WINNING THE CONTEST:
The winner of each of the three iPhone drawings will be drawn at random from the pool of valid entries into this contest.  A Mr. Rebates member can only WIN ONE iPhone and in the event that a winner is drawn two or more times, another entry will be drawn.

SELECTION OF POTENTIAL WINNER:
Three winners will be chosen on or around September 15th, 2007.  Winners will be notified via their registered email address and postal address (if the postal address is on file at Mr. Rebates).

PRIZES:
The prizes for the Contest consists of three Apple iPhones (4GB model) that are not activated and have no service contract.  The winner of each iPhone can elect to activate their phone and sign a service contract with AT&T if they so choose.  Mr. Rebates is NOT responsible for charges incurred from activation and service contracts and will only provide the iPhone hardware as the prize giveaway.

Each prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer. The cash-value of exactly $499 can be substituted if a winner does not desire the iPhone prize.  The cash substitution option will be made available to them upon announcement and notice of their winning. Expenses not specifically stated are the sole responsibility of the winner. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in the disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Prizes are non-transferable by winner. Any unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. The winners should allow approximately 1-2 weeks to receive their prizes.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
• The Contest is governed by the laws of the United States. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. The Contest is open to participants worldwide. Entries originating from jurisdictions outside of the continental U.S. are eligible in accordance with local laws for that jurisdiction. Participation in the Contest constitutes participant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Contest or the prize.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:
• Sponsor Mr. Rebates reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest if fraud or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Contest as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor further reserves the right to modify these Official Rules in its sole discretion for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Contest.

• If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, human error or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, Mr. Rebates reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. In the event of such cancellation, Mr. Rebates reserves the right to award prizes in a random drawing from all entries received before the time of cancellation.

• Mr. Rebates assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Mr. Rebates is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, any combination thereof, or otherwise, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Contest.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

COMPLIANCE AFFIRMATION. By entering this Contest you agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules. The Official Rules will be posted at the Contest Landing Page for the Contest Period and through notification of all winners.

ENTERING CONTEST WITHOUT MAKING A PURCHASE
No purchase is necessary for each respective prize giveaway.  To participate in each of the 3 respective prize giveaways, one must send a typed entry with the following subject: "Participation in the iPhone Contest" with their name and postal address included. Only 1 entry form will be accepted per individual (unique name, unique postal address).  Entries with suspected multiple postal addresses for one individual will be discarded.  Entry forms should be sent via postal mail to:
